Climate Risk & Resilience Policy

    LogistIQ Consulting recognises the risks that climate change may pose to our operations and the wider community. This policy sets out our approach to assessing and managing climate-related risks, strengthening organisational resilience, and supporting sustainable practices that contribute to climate adaptation and mitigation.

    Status of this Policy

    This policy applies to all contributors of LogistIQ Consulting, as well as contractors and partners engaged in our operations. While it does not form part of any contract, adherence to this policy is expected as part of our corporate responsibility and commitment to sustainability.

    Our Commitment

    LogistIQ Consulting will:

    • Identify and assess climate-related risks that may affect our operations.
    • Implement measures to increase resilience to climate change impacts.
    • Support sustainability initiatives that contribute to adaptation and mitigation.
    • Engage with stakeholders to promote climate resilience and awareness.

    Implementation

    To achieve these objectives, LogistIQ Consulting will:

    Risk Assessment and Management

    • Conduct regular assessments to identify potential climate risks, including physical, transitional, and regulatory risks.
    • Develop and apply risk management strategies to reduce the impacts of identified risks on operations.

    Resilience Building

    • Invest in infrastructure and technology to strengthen our ability to withstand and recover from climate disruptions.
    • Include climate resilience considerations in business planning and decision-making processes.

    Sustainability Initiatives

    • Participate in initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, increase renewable energy use, and improve energy efficiency.
    • Work with suppliers and partners to promote sustainable practices that support climate adaptation and resilience.

    Stakeholder Engagement and Education

    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including local communities, to raise awareness and encourage action on climate resilience.
    • Provide contributors with training to improve understanding of climate risks and resilience strategies.

    Monitoring and Reporting

    • Monitor and review the effectiveness of climate risk management and resilience measures regularly.
    • Report progress and outcomes internally and externally, to stakeholders and relevant public audiences.

    Involvement

    Everyone is encouraged to participate actively in climate risk and resilience initiatives. Suggestions for enhancing resilience and sustainability efforts should be submitted to hr@logistiqconsulting.com.

    Monitoring and Review

    LogistIQ Consulting will regularly assess this policy's effectiveness and make adjustments as needed. The policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant and effective in supporting climate resilience goals.

    LogistIQ Consulting reserves the right to amend this policy to reflect changes in company objectives, best practices, or sustainability priorities.
