Supply Chain Transparency & Responsibility Policy
Last updated: 19 April 2026
We also recognise that transparency within our supply chain is essential to upholding ethical business practices and sustaining trust among all stakeholders.
At LogistIQ Consulting, we recognise the influence of our purchasing decisions on the environment, society, and the economy. This policy reflects our commitment to choosing products and services that minimise harmful impacts across our supply chain.
We extend this transparency to our customers by providing clear, actionable information about procurement and supply chain practices, enabling them to make informed, responsible choices.
Status of this Policy
This policy applies to everyone in LogistIQ Consulting involved in procurement activities, as well as to contractors and partners engaged in these processes. While not forming part of any contract, adherence to this policy is an integral part of our corporate responsibility and commitment to sustainability.
Our Commitment
LogistIQ Consulting is dedicated to:
- Integrating environmental, social, and ethical considerations into our procurement decisions.
- Reducing the environmental footprint of our operations and supply chain.
- Partnering with suppliers who demonstrate robust sustainable practices.
- Promoting transparency and responsible sourcing throughout our procurement process.
- Providing our customers with visibility into the origin, ethics, and environmental footprint of the products they buy, whenever possible.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with all suppliers, partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Implementation
To effectively implement our sustainable procurement goals, LogistIQ Consulting will undertake the following actions:
Supplier Selection and Management
- Select suppliers who actively engage in sustainable practices, focusing on environmental stewardship and ethical behaviour.
- Evaluate and monitor suppliers based on their commitment to sustainability criteria (including environmental criteria such as energy use, waste management, and sustainable materials) as well as compliance with all relevant laws, human rights standards, and labour rights.
Product and Service Evaluation
- Assess the lifecycle impact of products and services, prioritising those that are energy-efficient, utilise sustainable materials, and feature minimal packaging.
- We develop and maintain systems to track and verify the origins of materials and goods within our supply chain, enabling us and our customers to respond to inquiries about product provenance.
Training and Awareness
- Equip procurement staff with the necessary training to recognise and prioritise sustainable products and services.
- Promote a procurement culture that values and integrates sustainability into all purchasing decisions.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish clear, measurable sustainability targets for procurement and regularly track progress.
- Communicate achievements and challenges in sustainable procurement to stakeholders through transparent reporting.
Continual Improvement
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement strategies to reduce environmental impacts.
- Periodically review and revise procurement practices to align with evolving global standards for sustainability.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and make informed enhancements to procurement strategies.
Involvement
We encourage all team members to support our own and our customers' sustainability objectives. Everyone is invited to propose improvements to our procurement practices to hr@logistiqconsulting.com.
We keep open communication channels with all stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and partners. We foster a collaborative environment to address supply chain challenges and continuously seek improvements.
Supporting Our Customers
We understand that many of our customers face their own supply chain transparency and sustainability challenges, from regulatory reporting to ethical sourcing pressures. As a consulting firm, we are uniquely positioned to help them navigate these issues.
When working with us, customers expect:
- Practical insights, lessons learned from implementing our own transparency policies, including what works and what is difficult.
- Guidance on common problems, like struggles with traceability, supplier audits, or ESG disclosures.
- Through public summaries, white papers, or direct conversation, our supply chain knowledge can be available to support customer decision-making.
Monitoring and Review
LogistIQ Consulting will routinely evaluate the effectiveness of this policy and adjust as necessary. This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it continues to align with our sustainability goals and remains effective in promoting ethical and environmentally friendly procurement practices.
LogistIQ Consulting retains the authority to modify this policy in response to changes in legislation, emerging best practices, or shifts in organisational objectives.
